Baby Aiah: in the face of difficulties
Would like to ask for the last time a help from you for my baby Aiah’s second operation, any help would be much appreciated.
She has undergone a CT-Scan last Saturday Aug 22, and now Monday Aug 24 the results shown that she has a cyst on right kidney and an evident of dissemanation of pneumonia on both lungs.
Pasensya na ha, take another chance lang kami baka pwede nyo sana kaming pahiramin, nangagako ako na makakabayad ako maitawid lang namin ito.
AUG 16 SUN
dalaw ng 10AM: matamlay pa rin sya, sabi ng nurse (na si Mel) bumaba daw ang O2 nya dahil sa improper suctions. kinausap ko ang mga RT pati si sir Wax para ma-address ang pagbaba ng O2 ni Aiah when she get suctions. Improving naman daw ang pCO2 nya (90 ang reading on this date and time), but still this is not good. Continuous pa rin ang antibiotics nya (vancomycin and amicacin)
around 4PM(oras ng dalaw sa hapon sa ICU): nag order ng blood CS, matamlay pa rin si baby Aiah.
10 PM: pinatawag kami sa ICU, may order daw na sasalinan ng dugo si Aiah
12 Midnight: nasalinan sya, hinati sa tatlo ang pagsalin ng dugo. first batch yang 12 midnight…
AUG 15, Baby Aiah’s condition is weak, she is supposed to scheduled a CT Scan today, unfortunately re-schedule on AUG 18 (TUE morning) due to many reasons.
Nakausap ko ang mga doctors (group of doctors of Pulmo and group of doctors of ICU) as per Pulmo, yung bilog na nakikita ay not CCAM (cyst) but as per ICU that is a CCAM(cyst). To make them definite on what to do, CTScan is scheduled on TUE 18 AUG. If ever maging favor sa side ng mga taga ICU, baby Aiah is recommended for an operation. And if ever favor naman sa Pulmo, then series of medicines will be program to her without the need of operation.
Salamat sa Dios sa mga doctors na nagmamalasakit para kay baby Aiah, salamat sa Dios alam namin na kinakasangkapan nya ang mga ito para maisaayos ang kalagayan ng aming anak.
this day(AUG 14, 2009) new gauge 16 of IV Catheter is injected on the right side body of baby Aiah to hit the seen bubble at her lungs (evident in XRAY yesterday night 8PM)
Ngayon, matamlay sya dahil sa tusok sa tagiliran nya, merong drop light to augment her temperature. And around 10am lang ulit sya nag feed ng milk na 1 ounce lang, naka dextrose, naka ventilator.
Pag tinatawag mo sya lilingon at magpapatapik sa bandang hita para makatulog. Matamlay sya.
Oras ng balaw, bandang 4PM, may drop light pa rin si baby Aiah. Ganun pa rin matamlay, pero yung kinagawian nya na kapag tinatawag mo sya at lalaruin ay pilit nyang gagawin ang usual nyang ginagawa.
7PM nakausap kami ng attending doctor ni Aiah, si Dra Ongson, sabi nya if yung bubble na nakita sa Xray na tinusok kaninang AM ay hindi makuha sa antibiotic ay may possibility daw na ma-opera ulit sya para tanggalin yun. Yung bubble na tumubo ang nagko-cause kay Aiah para mahirapan huminga kaya madalas syang manghina kaagad.
1 ounce pa rin ang feeding nya as of this time (8PM).
I love you baby Aiah, we will do what everything to help you through this struggle, and we will not stop in asking God to guide you and heal you.

around 3 am today we have had settled the needed amount to transfer her (baby aiah) in ICU, and she is transferred around 6:30 am (13 AUG).
she is scheduled for internal aspiration today around 1pm. to hit the circle that seen in the xray last aug 11 (TUE)

1. Oxygen dependent (3-5 liter per minute) 2 big tanks a day
2. Food Supplements
3. Steroid
4. Constant monitoring of diet and her unusual sleeps
5. Sana may mag-donate pa, for she is literally needing 3k pesos a day

Can you please help me? – Baby Aiah
Hi all,
I am really hoping someone in here can help our daughter. For the past 4 months my daughter has been in ICU, intubated/extubated and intubated/extubated, a pattern that we cannot take to look for so long, but there is nothing that we can do for her. She is suffering of Interstitial Lung Disease, a severe lung damage.
It started on February 1, 2009, she is diagnosed of so many diseases such as meningitis, sepsis, and other threatened diseases. She stayed in ICU for 2 months, almost 1 month of taking different level of antibiotics for her fever stayed for so long. Until this April they finally isolate the cause and found it to be severe lung disease, an ILD.
I don’t know what is the proper statement or word to say, but we are now exhausted in terms of financial resources to support her medications. Each day in the hospital we need to provide at least 10 thousand pesos in order to regulate her condition. Initially we can provide, but after the first month we are no longer capable to give on time the necessary medicines that she will be needing. We sell our properties we have, we even sell our house and lot for cheaper price in order to sustain this mountain of medicines.
We beseech you who have good heart to help our daughter financially.
